The biggest change for me has been the moving away of my best friend, and my childrens God Parents, to Georgia. Although, I am happy for them to get what they want and be where they want, I am still not thrilled about it.
I'm going from meeting for lunch, scrapbooking until the late hours, and going shopping with a close friend to only digital communication.. Man, have times changed.
Inspired from the move Julie & Julia, or is it Julia & Julie, lol, I feel moved to blog about how life is when you lose a friend to distance, but still make it work.
Via webcams we'll still scrapbook, we'll still see each other's kids grow up, and maybe even have a beverage together.
We're planning on this Sunday to scrapbook via web cam... I am looking forward to it, and am excited to make it the new "crop" revolution!

So, since I haven't blogged in 7 months, and a lot has changed I thought I'd update my space

Wow... A whole month flew by!
So, not only has it been over a month since I posted, it's also been TWO HOLIDAYS since the last time I added my two cents! lol
So, with Christmas being over, it feels like a weight has been lifted.. All the anticpation over "will they like the gifts I got", will dinner go ok, just made my holiday such a buzz kill..
The kids LOVED their gifts.. Every single one of them, thankfully! Rob was a big fan of MOST of his gifts.. He wasn't a fan of the style of "lumbar pack" I got him, but I made up for it, in my mind, by getting him a GPS and certain DVD.. :)
Now that the tree is taken down, the decorations have been turned off and mostly packed away, I can concentrate on New Years Eve.. Since my BFF and family are coming over to celebrate it with my family, I know we'll have fun.. Some times the hubbys fall alseep on the counch and love seat, but they always get woken up for the midnight kiss and toast.. I love having that special someone by my side to kiss on NYE... It makes me feel blessed.. THEN, to share it with my BFF and her fam.. It's always priceless..
This year we're gonna try to go simple.. Chicken Wing dip, boxed mint brownie mix, and some salsa (thanks Jill) are topping the menu.. Plus, we're making speghetti with meat sauce (sausage), which is cheap and easy. So, we won't be stressing up a storm in the kitchen. The bar may or may not be grovin', we'll have to play that one by ear.. Wink Wink... I do have intentions on drinking some Espresso Martini's or Mint Baileys on the rocks, though, as they're my staple beverage of choice.... I just don't have a ton of either, so it will have to be drunk sparingly.. If there is such a thing..
I'm sure Rob will find solice in his Jack n Pepsi's and Jay with his beer, in hopes that Dick Clark won't do too bad, this year.. lol... I rhymed! I know I'm a dork!
So, here's to a great, love filled, and safe, New Year!
