So, I dropped the kids off at Miss Jenny's house this morning, without Pullups.. Thanks Rob, lol
I ran and picked some up as to not interupt the process that was scheduled for today. I got back to her house with two packages, one for a girl, and the other for a boy. Can anyone tell me why they don't make gender nuetral training diapers? Stupid, stupid diaper companies!
I went to give Miss Jenny the pull ups and there was Emilee sitting on the potty in the kitchen with a few of the kids surrounding her keeping her company! How cute!
I have to say that I give the sitter big kudos for doing this. We had diapers off the kids last night for about an hour and Ivan peed in the bathroom, on the floor, and then successfully on the potty, yay him! He then proceeded to pee on the kitchen floor, then again on the potty.. again YAY him! The kicker was the poop incident.. He was playing with his Thomas the Train set and there he was squeezing off a big green turd... I told him he was pooping and that he should sit on the potty, so he turned and ran for the toilet... Well, the fully processed turd fell on the floor, as did another as he got in the bathroom... So, with that all said they both got diapers on and we cleaned all of the floors... It was a long, difficult hour.. And people successfully potty train their kids? Not to mention other peoples' kids?? Really??
Well, we'll keep trying, and they'll keep getting M&M's for trying, and a big sucker for succeeding, and we'll see how long it takes... I am a lucky girl, Yo!

This is me and my family... Remember the camera adds 75 pounds!
I nice guy watching the sunset with his lady friend offered to take our photo so, I got to be in the picture! Thanks goes to him!
We went camping to Westcott Beach State Park, my new fav... We walked the beach, threw lots, and LOTS of stones in the water, and I felt so thankful to be there... When the times get tough with the outside world, I just remember that these special 3 people complete me, not my job, not the economy... They make it all worth it... I am a lucky girl, YO!

How Lucky am I?
I am going to give this blogging thing a whirl.. With having twins who are presently going through potty training, I don't have much time to sit and share my life with whomever my stuble across my pathetic blog...
So, this is day one.. I'm feeling energetic about it.. It's kind of liberating, even..
So, I love my life.. Yes, I would love, also, to win the lottery, or to even have a savings account, but I regret nothing..
I have a wonderful husband who has loved me through thick and thicker, through a trying time to get pregnant and through poop on the floor and pee puddles from the kids.. He's my live-in BFF.. Until death do us part..
Then the icing on the cake are my twin angels.. They adorable, smart, messy, artistic, loud, quiet, handsome, beautiful, charming, loving, and my favorite people that were born from my favorite relationship, with my favorite person..
As a family, we spend time camping, playing outside, make art with Playdoh, and new-found messes on the floor.. I would NEVER trade any of it, or them, for the world... I am a lucky girl, YO!
