Lucky, Lucky me..

Well, another week bites the dust... lol

I'm very tired today so this post might ramble... I have massive neck muscle spasms and took a Flexural last night, which didn't help one bit, but I can't shake the sleepies.. So, bare with me here, as I may slur my words and take an occasional nap while I'm writing this... lol

1 - I'm so lucky because my kids are so dang cute.. I mean Parenting-Magazine-front-page, cute... Emilee sings to me during our night time ritual, and Ivan will tuck both hands behind his head and just stare at me like he's the happiest, most content, little boy in the world.. I could get easily lost in his eyes..

2 - I'm lucky because my darling Rob has found himself again.. He comes home from work a few inches taller, knowing that he is working in the right field.. He likes what he does, where he does it, and knows that him being there, will result in a smoother operating department at Camping World..

3 - I am so lucky because my neck pains are only muscle spasms.. Even though it's excruciatingly painful, it's not a pinched nerve or arthritis.. My doc said a muscle relaxer, and a few visits to a Chiropractor will fix everything.. I haven’t made an appointment for the back doctor, but have taken the muscle relaxer.. Yeah….. I’m not sure if I’m going to take another one, unless I can sleep in until noon… lol

4 - I am lucky because I belong to a great local Yahoo club, ESM mom’s.. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ESMofSyr/ .. This group of women are amazing.. Some of them are very generous and caring and have some great recipes.. I have been fortunate to have received some gently used clothing from some of them, for my kiddies, which blew me away..

5 - I’m so lucky because my BFF is coming over tomorrow to scrap book with me.. She not only brings inspiration and talent, but she brings tools and supplies that I don’t have, so it’s a double win/win for me.. Now, I have only good coffee, cute kids, and my sick humor in return, but she still likes me…

So, with #5 my post comes to an end.. I know you're sad.. Don't worry, I will post again.. in the meantime, enjoy the weather (wet/dry/hailing) because feeling the air in your hair, the rain on your nose, and the hail hit your head, just means you're alive..

Potty Training Twins.. update

So, it's been exactly one month since we started potty training with my twins, Ivan & Emilee..

I have to say it was an interesting start, as Ivan was more interested in doing it.. Now, Emilee has done amazing, while Ivan does just pretty well, which is still great!

She tells us every time she has to use the potty, sometimes even when she doesn't, but she does not, usually, have any accidents during the day, and she wakes up dry most mornings. Her brother wakes up soaked, and seems to have skid marks from juicy farts, most days.. Although, he's getting the hang of it, but he doesn't tell us when he has to poop, we just keep an eye out for "the pooping face", and when he sees us see him, he'll announce he has to use the potty, then we race him over to it..

I do have to say that only 1 month in, and they've blown me away. I was afraid we'd have to start, then stop, then start again, due to lack of interest, but they've stayed the course well..

We even brought their froggie potties with us when we go visiting, and they will use them at the location or in the back of the Jeep Cherokee.. It's cute!

Camping and potty training, is an adventure! We bring their Potette portable potties with us and they will run and get them, carry them, proudly, to the public bath house, and fight over who goes first.. It's a riot.. Now, if only we could get them to NOT touch the toilets like it's a hand rail... EWWWW.... lol

Pay it forward.

I have been very humbled by the amount of generosity I have received from my "mom's group", ESM moms.. I have two little ones who always need clothing, either because of growth spurts or because change of seasons..

Well, I posted on my moms group that we would love to buy gently used clothing, the cheaper the better.. Well, several moms actually GAVE us clothing.. They didn't want money or trades of any sort.. These clothes were in great condition, name brands, and would/do fit my kids perfectly.. It just blew me away that there are "giving" people left in the world.. So, since I have been very lucky to be blessed with associating with this wonderful moms group, I have tried to pay it forward to other families... It's so liberating!

So, as a challenge for all of my followers, LOL.. I think we should find a couple items in our home to give away to someone else without expecting anything in return.. a RAK, if you will..

I am going to dig something up tonight, and will find someone to whom it should go to... Go... go and find.. and give it away.. (ps... Jill I'd love a new TV.. lol)

Lucky me!

Well, it's Friday and I am feeling slightly lucky today.. These are going to be quick ones this time around!

1. I'm lucky because my lovely husband has finished his first week of his new job and he still likes it. LOL

2. I'm lucky because I have a great manager, who puts her employees first. We have a great department; we rock something fierce.

3. My kiddies are going through potty training so well! They have been wearing their Elmo undies without having accidents!! YAY

4. My toe nail polish has lasted for quite some time... It's still purty even after 3 weeks! I am VERY lucky!!

5. I'm lucky to be in love with my best friend, lucky to have been where I have been, lucky to coming home again... For all the Jason Mraz fans out there..

Here's to adding something lucky to your upcomming weekend... May the luck be with you and yours!

Am I the only one that...

Noticed that the new Dell commercial begins with the manufacturer's light off, one man stands up, starts singing, as another man stands up while buckeling his overalls... Ok, if that doesn't seem wrong to you, please let me know! Gay Dell sex much?

I have been told I pay too much attention to the details in commercials or movies.. I think it's important to make it realistic or maybe just paying attention to how it COULD seem...

Next time the "Lollipop" Dell commercial is on, watch how it begins, you'll see what I'm talking about... You may find it as funny as I do...

Potty Training week 3 or 4..

So, we've been doing potty training since June 29th.. I have to admit it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be..

We have to give special thanks to our daycare provider, Miss Jenny, as she has only been the best thing that happened to our family. She is wonderful with our kids.. She's laid back, but knows when to discipline.. She doesn't have them sitting in front of the tv all day, in fact, they play outside, or go for walks, every time it's not raining and thundering/lightening.. That says huge things!

Today we put their special ELMO undies on them.. I kept telling them when they start to go accident free during the days, they can wear them.. Well, yesterday NO ACCIDENTS!!

Ok, I have to admit.. Seeing their tiny fannies running around screaming Elmo undies, was hysterical! They were so excited to be able to wear them.. They have been seeing them in their sock drawer for over 2-3 months now.. I just love their enthusiasm for potty-ing..

Now, if only we could potty train our cats... We could just leave out the kids' froggie potties... they could use them at their leisure! LOL

It's still going to be a bit before these guys are accident free, especially at night, but this is right on track for potty perfection!

I have moved on

I have moved on... Past my dangerously-angry-at-MVP stage.. Thankfully...

I am still stupified that they would deny his case, as it only made sense, but something must be trying to tell me something.. That if I had gone locally, maybe they would've screwed up something, or we would've been hurt in a car accident.. Things always happen for a reason..

So, I took a whole bunch of deep breaths last night, thought about drinking a toddy, but my lack of ambition to make the drink, took over..

So, I don't want to even think about the MVP mess, so I am officially moved on.. Off I went... What were we talking about??

Rob's BIG day!

Rob starts his new job at Camping World!

It was a nice start to our ordain Wednesday... We both, yes BOTH, got up at 5:30.. Normally he's already been at work for over an hour, so this was sleeping in for him.

I'm not used to having anyone, adultish, home with me while I prepare for work, so I guess I felt I couldn't dilly dally, so I was ready to go at 6:25ish... I don't have to have the kids at daycare until 7:30, so I was very early... lol I had to call Miss Jenny to see if it was OK to come early, thankfully she was awake..

I am so excited for him today. He deserves a break from despising his job!! 13 Years at Drivers Village being twisted in every direction, Unifist had him working his ass off, making clients happy, but yet he was still getting the same pay as the guys who didn't work as hard, and who didn't care about their jobs..

So, today starts a new chapter for him.. Doing something he's quite, overly, capable of, working with stuff he enjoys, and, hopefully, for a rewarding paycheck.. He deserves all of that.. He's a great friend, husband, and father to our children..

So, I guess it's his LUCKY day.. Good for You, Rob, you earned it!!

Not so lucky today

I hate to say it, but it seems I've been unlucky lately, in the health insurance department.

Ivan needs to have his little feet checked out to make sure everything is where it's supposed to be, and his pediatric orthopedic doctor retired. So, I've been trying to find a doctor who accepts MVP insurance and that is local, or within 25 miles of my home. Well, the closest one is in Rochester, 90 miles away..

My boss is allowing me to take the time off without penalty... Which is VERY awesome of her, since I don't have an option at this point.. It's crazy how it can be allowed that an insurance company doesn't have to automatically cover a visit when there is no in-network provider within a reasonable distance from your house... Expecting me to drive, without being upset, to Rochester, 90+ miles away, is rediculous!

Well, I guess I'm only partially unlucky.. I am lucky to have such an understanding supervisor! She really is the reason I show up to work everyday... well keeping a roof over my family's head is reason # 1, but she makes it easier...

Camping with Twins, the Saga continues..

So, I have followed a couple blogs in the past that were about families of twins, little ones, that continued to camp, family additions and all... The biggest downfall of those previous blogs was that they never really discussed how to contain them for sleeping, or how to keep them occupied 100% of the time. I am going to start a weekly/monthly discussion of what I do to keep my twin toddlers at bay, and happy, and ultimately, us, happy for the length of our stay.

Here's some things we've done, and our success stories..

We have a small twin/twin popup. It's very small, from 1986, and a delight to have. We got it in 2008, and have used it about 6+ times so far.

The sleeping arrangements to date, have been somewhat successful, due to my DH's ability to build a custom containment system for the kids' bunk. We sleep in one of the end beds, and the kids sleep together, in the other end bunk.

The containment system is made of PVC, is secured down the the decking of the bunk and is about 12-14 inches high, last year it was taller, but it has since been altered to adjust for the kids' ability to listen to directions.. It's a custom built bed rail, if you will, that easily attaches, and detaches, by way of an adapter, and is secure enough for them to climb on to enter and exit the bunk themselves. I will post pictures later..

He made this because we didn't want them to fall out while they were sleeping, and or jump out when not wanting to go to bed. A regular store-bought bed rail was not long enough, nor secure enough as the foam pad of a mattress, was not heavy enough to keep the bed rail down.. So, hence, his creative juices flowed...

I contribute a successful nights sleep, and naps, to his genius creation.. Without it, we'd be home more often..

To keep them occupied for the length of our stay we bring their fold able table, and lots of Playdoh, and Playdoh accessories. They will stand at that table for quite some time creating "baby snakes" out of their mashed together colors.. If it's raining the table can go under our awning, or even inside on the table, whatever fits the weather situation best.

We also bring bubbles, balls of all sizes, buckets for rock collecting, and shovels for digging.. They love to collect rocks! We will also have them collect twigs for the fire pit, which they take seriously. It also gives them a job in which they take great pride in when they find a large stick or a tree limb... lol

Food situations.. Well, we have gotten VERY frugal since we had these guys.. We eat simple and quick meals, and spend very little doing so.. Breakfast consists of cereal and milk (coffee for us adults), lunch is PB&J's with crackers or pretzels and fruit, snacks are crackers and fruits, and dinner is usually grilled cheese with ketchup and beans or chips or crackers..

We bring whatever we can from our current on-hand groceries, and we enjoy how simple and less time consuming it is to eat a meal together..

People ask us how we do it with twin toddlers, well... The above short cuts have helped immensely and a good anti-anxiety medication also helps.. lol

Places we have stayed with our twins include:

Letchworth State Park (stayed twice so far, has a pool, hiking, playground, and gift shop on premise)

Westcott Beach State Park (stayed twice as well, has a nice beach, playgrounds, clean family bathrooms, hiking, the Plateau spots has a sandpit and small-child swings within the loop, highly recommend this park

Darien Center State Park this was also very kid friendly, has a playground, a lake for swimming, clean bathrooms, and is near Darien Lake Water park, but it's not the one attached to it.

Faihaven We dislike Fairhaven.. I don't want to waste my time with this one..

Selkirk this is the worst campground I have ever been to.. The camping sites are on top of each other, there's no room on your site to park, let alone extend an awning from your camper, the fire pits are out to the road, because there's no room on the site, and it's worse than a trailer park, highly recommend you stay away from this one.. We felt we wouldn't be able to keep our kids from entering the neighboring sites, and or keep them safe from the road or fire pits.. Simply horrible!

We have an upcoming trip planned for Whetstone Gulf in August.. I will let you know how that one rates for family camping with twins..

Until then, remember... Their little minds crave experiences.. give them the experience of the great outdoors! Go Camping!! (bring wine!)

I found it!

So, my DH took me to Target to grab a couple things before we went on our camping trip, on Friday. I got looking at the purses, with a specific one in mind, from looking online.. I did find it/them, but it was not what I expected, as far as quality and texture, so I opted away from it/them.. I walked around and looked at the rest of the purses and found a nice one.. It's a dark purple, leather-ish material, gold metal accents, with one big front pocket with a turn-style latch, and two open side pockets, great for the cell and lip gloss.. It's big interior space can easily hold my wallet, my clear makeup/emergency bag, my Ipod, my keys, and my "monthly" bag without looking cluttered or even puffy from contents.. It's easy to see everything in it when it's unzipped, and it's not even necessary to keep it zipped, which is nice.

It has one zippered pocket on the inside for my manicure/file kit, my eye drops, and a pack of gum, which is nice to keep separated from the rest of my junk.. It passed the breakfast challenge this morning, as I was able to put a yogurt parfait and a blueberry bagel, in their bags, in it, while walking into work...

It also has several loops in which to hook my work badge to, and still have it easily accessible to have the ability to quickly find it when at my work's door.

I will add that there are no more purses like it at Target, and it wasn't online, so I'm wondering if it's a "last year" purse.. It's still very fashionable and functional, which is a win win, in my book..

I am still continuing the search for a dark blue version, or a darker yellow purse, as those have been on my mind for this coming fall...

We'll see how my search ends up, as I treck forward... lol

Looking for the perfect purse..

Although it's quite the lame thing to write on a blog, I'm still going to do it... lol

I am trying to find the perfect purse.. A purse with just the right amount of interior and exterior pockets. One with an area for quickly grabable items, and another big enough to hold the just in case stuff.. One that is flashy, but not too flashy.. One that is in with the current trend ALL of the time.. Maybe you could push a button and have it change colors.. lol

It needs to be wide-ish, not to deep, and have straps that can easily go over a shoulder and sit between your arm and upper torso area..

I'd want it to be real leather, but with a texture, have a matching cosmetic bag, and an exterior pocket for my cell, and "accessories"... Name brand is only somewhat important, but the price tag is crucial.

I would like something attached to the front that hangs and make a little noise for cutsie purposes.. Like a couple small metal medallions with the purse logo on them, tied or on a ring, on the strap or something.

I kind of like the Jessica Simpson purse found at Macy's, it even has a detachable pouch...

I have only 1 real nice purse, and that's my Coach leather purse Rob got me for Christmas a few years back.. It's really nice, leather, and is the perfect strap length. The only problem is I have outgrown the size. I need a bigger purse now that I've grown accustomed to keeping so much in them... It's a great purse for when I don't bring much with.. Every time I do use it, I get a ton of compliments..

So... If anyone out there wants to send me a gift.. there's some ideas above, I'm not too picky with free... LOL

Lucky me.. Week 2

So, I realized that with so many people out of work, out of love, and deep in debt, that me not being in one of those categories makes me super lucky. Don't get me wrong, I have debt, and no savings, but I make it, and with spending less on clothes and junk, I could potentially have a savings account, so that's my own fault..

Here's some other reasons why I'm lucky this week...

1. I am going camping this weekend. The weather is not looking all that great, but I then remember I have two kids who love water, even if it's from the sky... They'll take it any way they can get it..

2. A very successful anniversary party is behind us... It's done... I don't have to do any more planning, order any more cakes.. etc... That was quite the party, lol

3. My kiddies are wearing real undies... They still have a couple accidents, but they tell us when they need to potty, and have successfully gone both #1 and #2 on the potty. We even got them each a POTETTE Plus... They're little portable potties that can be sat on the floor, or the legs can be opened to go on a big potty, when we're on the run.. If you're trying to potty train, highly recommend them.. Plus, the kids each "own" theirs.. They know which one is theirs and want to go in EVERY bathroom, in EVERY store.. Lol, it's so cute..

4. I have a very excited hubby.. He's super excited about his new job. I am just so thrilled that he is happy, and people are happy for him.. Which IS important to him, and can you blame him??

5. I have a bit more energy this week... A little sleepy, but not too bad... That's huge for me since it seems I'm almost always tired..

Well, I guess I might have had to think a little harder than normal to come up with my weekly lucky me's, but I did it... Remember every day ABOVE ground is a good day... Unless you're buried to your neck in sand by someone you love, then that's cool too.. lol

UGH!!

So, as you already know, because I have an audience of one person and that person is well aware of my son's issues, Ivan was born with club feet.

He's been seen by two specialists.. One because we couldn't find any other doctor, and the second because the first doctor blew donkey testicles and we were informed there was an option..

The first doctor was the worst... She didn't make sure my son's ankle was fully numb before she dug into it and snip'd his Achilles tendon.. He was in so much pain he turned purple and couldn't cry at first, he just had a tragic expression and he couldn't exhale his cry.. I will never, ever, forgive myself for that.. She wouldn't stop what she was doing to try to numb the area more, just asked if his reaction was due to be scared or if it seemed to hurt him... Uh... Fuckin' DUH!!

So, we went to a different doctor who was spectacular.. He had to recast Ivan and re-do the surgery, but this time while Ivan was under Anesthesia, what a thought?!! So, we were very thankful to have discovered he was in practice..

But then he retired in Dec '08, so we've been trying to find a doctor ever since, that participates with our insurance. I have called MVP many times and spoke with Linda Whicky, who should be name Linda "what am I doing here, how did I get here?" Whicky.. She's clueless, rude and has the audacity to not return phone calls. She has been told many times that we need to have Ivan seen every three months and it's been since November 08... So, I have left many messages, she never returns my calls and nothing has been accomplished. I finally was able to speak to her supervisor, who assured me she was taking over the case and she would do her best to submit the request, using Dr.Cady's referral I emailed over, to the board for approval, again so I can see Dr.Katz as "in-network". What a major pain the the tush though, seriously!!

I still would love to find another doctor in my area that can treat Ivan for his feet, as I am not thrilled about taking Ivan to the same practice as his first, horrible, doctor, Dr. Polomino..

Ugh... I'm still above ground, so I guess I must still be lucky.. lol

The sparkle in may hair, is Gesso bas with glitter, the flowers are also are Gesso'd with glitter, the leaves hold the details about me, however, I'm a anal retentive person and have to make it even, and therefore, there's 12 things about myself... I Sephia Glossy Accented my lips, crackle accented my sweater buttons and clear star dusted some of the details on the background paper... I hope it passes for the challenge... "

Aren't my kiddies so cute?! They love to play in the water. They especially love to dump water out of the tub and their kiddie pool, or get their mom wet.. lol

Crazy Stuff!

So, I've gotten myself in a mood lately.. I've been thinking about my past.. My high school past, to be more specific. I've been wondering, as previously mentioned in prior posts, where my old friends ended up, so far. Like, I am married, gained weight, an extra chin, and a wonderful husband and two wonderful kids. I never went to college, but have been working in accounting since 1997ish, so I have lots of experience with numbers, lol.. I got married at the age of 21, and waiting until 29.9 to have babies, which I don't regret one bit. They make my life!



So, with that said, I wonder where my old friends live, and if they got married, had kids, went to school, and have fancy degrees with exceptionally large bank accounts..

Funny things happen in weird places, and at odd times..

So, I discovered an old friends Ebay account online. I took and emailed that account and alas, she exists! I found an old friend, my bff from high school, in fact. Her and I were very close in and out of school, as often as possible. We had sleep overs, and did strange things, and had weird nick name... (gaylord was one of them) I do remember that once I graduated it did get harder to hang, but I still visited her, had her over our house, and even when she went to college, still visited her up there.. Then in 2000 or 2001, I think, she just vanished... I guess there was nothing common to keep our "friend flame" going. However... that was all in our past..

She now has a 15 month old son, Adam, and a husband from India. She is a teacher and lives near NYC. She also wants to go forward and be friends, even arrange play dates for our kids, which would work, so long as she comes up here.. lol

What's even funnier is that I've always wondered what happened to a friend, THE friend who eventually lead me to the 3 loves of my life.. Rob, and my kids. I knew her then as Joanna G.. She was fun, and we had a good time chillin. We listened to music and went trick or treating together in 1994. We stopped being friends due to one girl who I had to see all the time, and had to like, but didn't get along with Joanna.. So, I do want to find her and if I don't do anything else with the relationship, I at least want to thank her for the connection to Rob. So, I called her old phone number and left a message.. It's her parents' house, so maybe they'll pass the message on, or maybe not... We'll see..

Now, the funny part... I have been going to Target's pharmacy in Cicero for several months.. There' been this super nice, very perky, pharmacist there who knows my last name when she sees me. Every time I pick up my scripts I keep thinking to myself that she looks so familiar.. Well, today I saw her name tag.. Melissa.. OMG.. She was an old friend from HS, and was a mutual friend of Joanna's... So, I took the leap and asked if she went to Central Sq high school, and YEP! So, I told her who I was, reminded her of the friendship, and low and behold, she remembered.. She even remembered a drama club adventure to Toronto, in which some teenage girl drama took place.. Huh, small world...

So, my research will continue to try to find Joanna.. For now I have two more people to catch up with, and maybe continue a friendship, who knows?

Me so lucky 'cuz...

Well, when you have to retype your 5 lucky things for the week, I'm not sure just how lucky you are, which is what happened to me today, and yesterday... oh, well... here it goes, yet again!

1. My hubby got a job offer, and he took it, to be a service advisor at Camping World... It puts his two favorite things in one spot! Automotive stuff, and camping equipment on the automotive stuff! He's so happy, and I'm so happy for him!!

2. My kids are both doing well with the potty training! Emilee has woken up dry almost every day this week, and Ivan rather enjoys pooping on his tiny potty! YAY POOP!!

3. I only had to work 4 days this week, with my day off spent scrapping at my BFF's house.. I even made a LO for the APC challenge, and did a mighty fine job, I must say so myself... Go ME!!

4. It's my hubby's birthday today, and I got him a wonderful gift! His surprise is an hour and a half of deep tissue massaging at Body Works... He's gonna be thrilled (it's not that kind of massage, Jill...) Maybe he'll be so relaxed he'll let me rent a chick flick, and even watch it with me this weekend... One could hope!!

5. A gal co-worker told me I looked all sexy today.. Now being a big girl normally doesn't get me many compliments, unless it's from my DH, so I'm feeling pretty lucky, and special.. I think it was mostly the leather heeled sandals, but whatev... Still a compliment.. YAY ME!

Gonna Try Something New

My BFF Jill, my only fan, has her "fav 5" things she blogs every Friday... Well, I'm gonna thief her idea a bit..

Some days I feel more lucky, or blessed, than the other days of the week.. I would love to make public the things that happen to me in the current week, that made me feel especially lucky to be here on this planet..

So, Jill, don't get mad at me! lol

So, I'm opting on a new course..

I'm feeling saucy.. I have been in the wonder-where-they-are mode.. I had some friends in highschool that fell off the planet after highschool..

One was my highschool bff for 3 years, plus 6 years after, then "poof", gone... I wonder what she's up to..

The other was the reason I met my hubby... I get butterflies thinking about it.. She was friends-ish with a guy, who ended up being my hubby's cousin.. We chit-chatted on the phone, then here we are almost 15 years later... Been married for 11 years, and have the cutest kids ever... Emilee & Ivan... 2 years, 3 months, 20 days, old... They have taught me SO much... I wonder where she is???

I also wonder, sometimes, if I ever affected someone else's life the same way.. Did something I do, or say, make someone change their direction? Or think differently? OR get a sex change? (Can we say Jr. prom date 1994).. Hi, Nicky, where ever you are... lol

As an adult I realize that those petty differences that caused us to stop being friends, or that made us drift apart, were just that... Petty.. Life is too short, and lived too quickly, that we simply fail to recognize the small details inbetween the beginning and end of our existance.. Whoa that was so analytical! Go ME!

So... I'm on a mission... find those people who made a difference, or had made a difference at the time, and tell them... Watch out, here I come!!

Because I AM a lucky girl, and some of what makes me lucky, came from friends, and still does..

Happy 4th of July!

It's the Monday after the 4th of July and I'm off from work, but the in-laws don't know....lol (and they're watching my kiddies so I can play today)

And yet another boring story

So, I am excited about this weekend.. I get 4 whole days off in a row!!

Rob and I are both off on Friday, and the kids are going to daycare, so they can have reinforcement for potty training, so we're gonna spend the day together... Aww, I know... We've got some chores to do, but I for see a nap, some breakfast, and maybe a picnic in our agenda for that day.

We do have to get ready for the 4th of July BBQ we're having with my bff and her family, so I also see some grocery shopping in our future... We're having grilled chicken, grilled corn on the cob, grilled green beans, grilled potatoes, and some delish drinks!! YUMM!! Oh, and don't forget the smores!! Rob makes an awesome grilled chicken.. so moist, and delish! He's my favorite griller!!

The kids will be equipped with bathing suits and swimmy diapers so they can play in the rain and their pool, as long as it's not thundering and lightning out.. We'll have a 12x12 easy up, some drinks and maybe we'll just wear quick dry clothes or something... or we can just drink until we just don't care anymore! We do have a futon and some kid cots, so they can always spend the night.. wink wink, Jill...

THEN.... on Monday I'm off, while Rob works, so it's off to Jill's house for some scrappin'. The kids will be going to grandma & grandpa's house, who think I'm working, so I'll have more free time to get scrappy... YAY ME! I have to get some pages done, I really need/want to, it's just I've been kind of busy with birthday parties, camping, and family parties... Oh, well.. I'll try to be speedy with my layouts..

As I mentioned "family parties" earlier.. I remembered my dad's anniversary party is next weekend. It's going to be a nice party, or at least should be. It's at the Embassy Suites and the food selection is very yummy!! There's a DJ and Irish Step Dancers for entertainment, and a cash bar, with a free Mimosa toast, yay booze!! I am excited for him, he enjoys seeing everyone together.. all 11 kids, 27 grand kids, and 9, +2 on the way, great-grand kids.. He loves every hair on every one of them.. He's such a sweet man.. So, I've got to get everything set with what we're wearing and bringing to keep the kids entertained.. I am still trying to find someone artistic to do face painting for the kids.. Anyone out there? LOL.. I'm asking a total of 1 person who may read this.. LOL (HI, Jill)!


Well, all I have to left to say is, I am one luck girl... YO!
